  4. One thing I love about TED is that it’s technology, entertainment, anddesign. The prosthetics that I’ve seen tend to be clunky, ugly, poorly colored, ripped-off-a-crash-test-dummy-looking things. A stock leg design is a really good thing, but when we have the technology to make them so customizable, why not do it? The other amazing part of this talk is how important feel and symmetry are.

    Anyways, it’s 2012. We have 3D printers. This guy’s on the right track.

  5. if you’re really rushed for time, just watch from 0:20 on. That’s when the eyes are clearly visible, and it gets about 37x more exciting
